How fruit looked before people

I’ve started going on Facebook because it’s not one of the time wasting apps I feel like I have to block. Mostly I just scroll Marketplace listings, but today I saw this video on How fruit looked before people. I assumed that the video would be in some way insinuating that people ruined fruit (maybe there were abundant species driven to extinction; maybe we are gluttons for sugar), because that seems to be the overarching narrative about the relationship between people and the rest of the natural world. But no! The video’s the music does this glitchy falling-apart effect every time it transitions to photos of fruit before people, which is scrawny and dull and pathetic and not delicious at all. suck shit, tiny corn! humans rock. i love agriculture
